"Shiv" features eleven prisoner-made weapons from the collection of Chris Kasabach and Vanessa Sica. These shivs were confiscated in the 1980s at Rahway (today known as East Jersey State Prison), a notorious maximum-security home to over 1,500 inmates serving 25 years to life.
